About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with over 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents. My goal is to provide help, support, hope and healing to each individual that I work with through a collaborative and empathic relationship and to help you meet the challenges that you're facing.

I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UCSD and continued my education to achieve my goal of becoming a therapist. I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, with additional training in mood disorders, trauma, DBT, and CBT. My experience includes working for an Intensive Outpatient Program at a local hospital, as well as both clinic and school based settings.

I believe that the most important component to successful therapy is trust and connection between the client and their therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide supportive treatment with practical feedback. By using a variety of complementary therapeutic techniques (such as mindfulness, DBT, CBT and ACT), I am able to tailor treatment and offer a personalized approach to my clients.

My Mission

We all experience times in life when we could use some help. Sometimes changes in life can bring up a lot of uncertainty and fear, and sometimes we have a hard time managing the difficulties life presents us with. My goal is to help you develop the life that you want to live, feeling happy, content and hopeful.
